Experiential Marketing: Connected Door SNCF Europe

TBWA\Paris connects cities with a colorful door and some experiential marketing. Railway company SNCF has followed their campaign which offered a connected experience the people from other European cities. These Brightly colored doors were placed in public spaces around Milan, Stuttgart, Geneva, Barcelona, and Brussels enabling passersby’s to experience other places with the turn of a knob.

To turn up the heat and generate some engagement, SNCF and TBWA\Paris made it so pedestrians were able to interact with a mime artist, have their portraits drawn, dance with a hip-hop crew, share a romantic boat ride, and join German bike gang.

In general this was a fantastic experiential marketing idea in terms of engaging different passerby’s in different areas promoting the idea that “Europe is just next door.”
